Good scientific practice is the prerequisite for producing excellent research. The FVB Executive Board passed a resolution on Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice at the Forschungsverbund Berlin as early as 2000. Based on this resolution, it adopted further rules.
These rules that take into account the Leibniz Association Guidelines for Good Scientific Practice and the Code of Conduct “Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice” of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation). As such, an amended version of the “Rules of Procedure in Cases of Suspected Scientific Misconduct, Last amended 10/2021" of the FVB came into effect on October 27, 2021. All FVB staff engaged in research must abide by these rules of good scientific practice as the basis for their research activities.
